This site was supposed to bring me huge fortune. I saw how similar sites could get millions of traffic in a month and so decided to create one myself. Data was free from Wikipedia, and I thought its going to be easy money and I only need to update the content maybe once 5-6 months.
I was wrong. I am still poor. I even regret wasting my 3$ for the .xyz domain.
I stored everything in Google Sheets, and I fetched those entries into the Frontend. At last everything was static, some 1000 pages. Build using NextJS. Hosted using Netlify. I would have gone with Cloudflare pages but it had a limit of total 20000 assets. I had more than 50000.
